Bi-directional stretch accommodates swelling, distension and movement.

Breathable

Highly breathable, soft cloth tape.

Easy to use

Easy to tear at perforations with no scissors necessary.

Helps reduce risk

Single-use length rolls can help reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

Apply tape to skin without pulling or stretching

Pulling or stretching during application may result in tension blisters as tape attempts to return to its original state.

Apply firm pressure to activate the adhesive and fully contact skin

Acrylate adhesives are pressure sensitive.

To remove, loosen the tape’s leading edge

Do not pull the tape perpendicular to the skin. For tape that is strongly adhered to the skin, consider using a medical-grade adhesive remover to soften the adhesive along the peel line.

Remove the tape “low and slow”

Stabilize the skin with one finger at the peel line and continuously move it along the peel line (ideally in the direction of hair growth) to support the skin during removal.

Medipore H soft cloth medical tape is a conformable, breathable soft cloth medical tape with lateral perforations for easy hand tearing, with a strong adhesion for more challenging applications. Our medical tapes are latex free.

Conformable — bi-directional stretch accommodates swelling, distension and movement.
Tape material — highly breathable, perforated nonwoven soft cloth tape not made with natural rubber latex.
Easy to use — perforations are easy to tear without scissors.
Removal — minimizes skin stripping and adhesive residue for patient comfort upon removal.
Provides flexible securement for the following clinical applications: dressings and added pressure, secondary securement for I.V. lines and tubing, central venous catheters, chest tubes, surgical drain tubes, when swelling or movement is anticipated and when repeat taping is needed.
Helps reduce risk — single-use length rolls can help reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

Suggested Applications

Flexible securement.
Dressings and added pressure.
Secondary securement for I.V. lines and tubing, central venous catheters, chest tubes and surgical drain tubes.
When swelling or movement is anticipated.
When repeat taping is needed.
